I love you friend

BUT, I love Jesus more.

You’re my biggest confidant; BUT, ‘you make’ me use all the wrong words and even profane words while I’m confiding in you.

You give the best advice; BUT, it’s usually entangled with some things that do not glorify My Jesus.

You motivate me to be a better me; BUT, you still entice me to do things that will eventually make me feel bad.

You’re always there for me; BUT, so much that I almost forget I should’ve gone to God first.

Our relationship is so symbiotic; BUT, we feed of each other until we are completely dry, because we have no true source of replenishment.

We talk about My Jesus; BUT, only when we’re stranded, frustrated or need a favor.

We have conquered so much together; BUT, My Jesus has a lot more for Him and I to conquer.

I love you friend, and I don’t blame you for anything. BUT, I have to take some time away from you to FOCUS on My Jesus.
