The Jigsaw Puzzle

T

To

Jerusalem,

Daughter of the Lord!

In science, it’s said that there is no such thing as empty space, even if we can’t see anything with our natural eyes, some matter no matter how minute is occupying it.

Due to the shape similarity of most pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, one can randomly put all the pieces together to complete the puzzle in no time, but the gag is, when you look at the completed image you’ll realize you’ve made a mess. So yes, many pieces that fit right and feel good don’t make the perfect/intended picture.

The word of God tells us in 2 Corinthians 3:18 that we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. There is an image our lives should be like, there is an image we’ve seen in Christ that we want to attain, and we have to actively work towards attaining it through the help of the Holy Spirit.

Voids can come in any form, the need for love, joy, peace, friendship, companion, accomplishment, respect, you name it.. What’s common amongst them all is, they must be occupied. They can’t be left empty. When we as humans experience a void, there are three possible routes we take, either we’re passive about it , stuff it up with carnality or stuff it up with the things of God. The first two will end up harming you. Meaning, inaction(being passive) is actually an action for the devil to take-over. The crazy thing is, when the devil fills the void for you, it would fit just right, it would make you happy at least for the time, it would stop the longing to be complete(Obviously the void is filled). But…the final image won’t be you! It won’t be you! It won’t be the image 2 Corinthians 3:18 is talking about.

I know it’s hard, but it’s time to make a change, it’s time to replace the piece that supposedly fits to the RIGHT piece that fits. It’s time to rearrange to get the true image that God wants for your life.

It’s time to fill whatever void that exists with something that will last! Something that will keep you hydrated for ever. It’s time to drink.

Joh 4:14  But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Col 2:10  and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.

No matter what it feels or looks like, only God can make you complete. Ask him to help you today.

Yours Sincerely,

Douglas
