While you wait

W

So there was this time i wanted to travel to Port harcourt via flight from lagos, so i got to the airport very early probably 5-6hours before my flight departure time and because of how boring sitting at the airport doing nothing was i decided to step out to a close-by market (Ikeja,Lagos Computer Village) to buy a few things, in the natural sense there was nothing wrong with that idea however i spent a lot of time there because of how much time it takes to bargain with the sellers, by the time i got back to the airport it was about 20/30mins to the flight, so i got in line for checking and i asked someone if i was in the right line, he simply told me the flight had been postponed to the next 2 hours.

Long & short i missed my flight that day, i was so furious but there was basically nothing i could do about it, i got there late and i was misinformed about the postponement of my flight.

Your first thought may be, oh that was a stupid move, you shouldn’t have left the airport in the first place and you should always confirm from the right people and not just anyone. you might even add that i am foolish for my ordeal .

Well before you throw too much stones i want to you take a minute to realise some of us go through this everyday with our life and our journey to destiny;

we go to God’s airport to take a flight to our miracle or breakthrough but end up being distracted and miss our destination, its time for us to take a step backward and reorganise our lives, if you’re going to ask God for something you have to be at his airport before time and stay there in patience , faith and Holiness, emphasis on HOLINESS because most at times we let sin ruin all of Gods wonderful plans for us all the time, we let sin take us out of the airport without even realising it, Simply put: If you’re going to wait for God on his promise you should be holy as you wait, Sin counters all the effects of our prayers,faith and patience as we believe God for anything and its time to put Holiness on the high pedestal it deserves. Heb 12:24b(AMP) says “pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”.

Some other thing we need to look out for while we wait at the airport for God is the people we ask questions, the truth is not everyone is going in the same direction as you and asking basically anyone for directions would lead you to jeopardy,while you wait for God keep your circle of people you ask for more direction very short, consult the word of God(Bible) when lost and the Lord will take you to your great destination in Jesus Name Amen.
