If there is anything we as Christians can learn from one of my favorite TV shows Thr Vampire Dairies is the concept of Compulsion, When you’re compelled you can be told to do anything and you will do it, but to be compelled you must be completely free from vervain,but in any event you have vervain in your system, you will have to be bled out, to get ot out of your system, no matter the time it takes,but once its out of your system,you will obey without questioning or thinking.
Now how can we learn from this, Most times we all try to obey God but find it rather impossible in most cases because we have a lot of contradicting substances still lingering in out system, How can one expect to completely obey in the aspect of staying away ftom pornography when they keep filling there system with movies & shows with sex scenes , or stop secular music when they hang around friends that play them or constantly remind you about them, one of the ways to completely obey God is by draining your system from them,and staying from them by all means,taking in the word of God and in no time, you will find yourself completely very receptive to the word of God,if you ask most folks that have battled addictions the first day of seperation from it was not so easy but later it became a piece of cake and if God said jump, they’ll ask how high.
Lastly all this won’t be possible if you try to do it by your strength, so pray that holyspirit helps you to truly stay away from every form of iniquity.
