You know what a fat person shouldn’t do? have a snack!
You know what they should do instead? Work-out!
Snacks are the worst. They are so small and seemingly harmless but their impact is so effective!
Yesterday you could buckle your belt but today, you’re puncturing new holes due to your increased size.
Worst part is, they’re very addictive. Today it’s a small piece of cookie, tomorrow it will be cake and next thing you know, you’re looking for a small piece of fatty food like a cocaine addict looking for the next high.
I love the way Bimbo Odukoya painted the picture of addiction in one of her books, she said addictions work like a slave – master relationship.
Just like a slave can’t go to bed without fulfilling all the masters wishes, so it is for a man that is addicted. He’ll feel completely restless and won’t be able to sleep until he snacks to his satisfaction.
It’s time to convert the cravings of snacking to exercise(work-out).
1st Timothy 4:8 says For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
If you find your self compulsorily snacking to the wrong things, it’s time to not just stop but work it out. And there is no point working out if you’re going to go bad to eating again. You better stop 🙄
