Books vs Movies

B

Yinka: “That movie just ruined the book for me, Hollywood does this to so many nice books.”

One of the reasons the harry potter movie series stands out amongst many movies coined from books is that the author, J.K Rowling was very involved in the movie production, and carefully inspected all details of the movie to ensure that the movie didn’t sway from the book. Some people say she was rich already, so she didn’t allow herself be bought out and allow “hollywood” take the wonderful creation and turn it into crap. So against all odds, she battled with every director and had the movie series come out as it was in the book.

Life is kinda like hollywood… Sometimes things come and try to make you compromise your God given story to give you a twisted experience. It sometimes presents a story to you that is quite acceptable and “workable”, but not true to the original script. The end may be the same, but the story twisted to fit the current worlds interests and likes.

Shady deals may come your way to sway you from that perfect original story however, one must decide to take charge of the direction of their story and not let circumstances dictate.
You may not be rich like J. K. Rowling to dictate things in certain situations, but we must remember that Eph 3:16  says, “That He (God) would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man”
Hence, God will provide all you need (2 Peter 1:3) and also strengthen you to act out your life based on the main manuscript, which is the Bible, and not a world pleasing script. So before you make that action, ask yourself; If they’re telling my story would i want them to include this next action? Is this next action part of the Main Manuscript (Bible)? if its not, DON’T SHOOT THAT SCENE.
