Just like normal human relationships won’t work with one partner refusing to obey the other,you relationship with God will never be steady when you refuse to Obey his Word.
Its just funny how people say on and on,i love God because he first loved me and they are still wallowing in sin,Jesus gave of us a true breakdown of what it meant to love God in John 14:15,23,24(NIV)
John14:15 If you love me, you will obey what I command.
John 14:24 He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
So yes you realize the great rhema that God loves you ,and you want to do everything to please him,qit letting the devil deceive you that doing every other thing than obeying Gods word will please the one who loves you so much,So next time you’re faced with a temptation/besetting sin that you find impossible to overcome ask yourself do i really Love God as i claim or even can i replicate a fraction of the Love God shows me,then i will keep his commandments ,this sin before me is not greater than the Love God has shown me.
And the holy spirit will strengthen you to show more obedience to God in Jesus Name,Amen.
